Note from Amy Smith, Middle School Health Teacher:
Hi Shanti, It was great working with you this year on aligning the Health curriculum across the divisions. The middle school students really enjoyed the advocacy presentations put on by your students, especially the ones on self-esteem and decision making. Can't wait to see what they're able to come up with next year. As we continue to move towards a skills based Health curriculum, I look forward to us aligning even further.
Reflections Amy and I spent a great deal of time discussing the alignment of the middle school and the high school program. With some of my colleagues, I have been able to pilot various topics and units in the high school health program. As a result, we have been able to create a dynamic, skills based health program for the grade 9 and 10 students. High School Health Units
