Assessment Provide students with more specific and intentional feedback about their performance in PHE1 and PHE2, using formative feedback that is connected to the standards, benchmarks, rubrics, and essential learning expectations of the PHE program at SAS.
Core Values: Collaboration is the key to overcoming complex challenges and achieving common goals. In attempting to achieve this goal, I hope to provide my students with challenges in which we will need to work together to overcome and to also achieve the goals of meeting the expectations of the PHE1 and PHE2 courses.

Use formative feedback in the form of peer and self evaluations, observations, anecdotal evidence, and verbal feedback more specifically and frequently to provide students with more information about their learning and progress in PHE1 and PHE2
In each unit, students will participate in two formative assessment activities, that includes learning outcomes and rubrics
Timeline: to be completed by the end of the school year.
Reflect on goal accomplishment
I feel that I was able to meet Goal #1 by slowing adjusting assessments and providing feedback so they are based on the standards and benchmarks. I have attempted to do this at least twice in each unit. I think I have come close to that with doing it most units.
GOAL #2
Goal Statement:
Risk taking To research and try new and current methods of learning skills in PHE: specific sport skills, social skills, leadership skills, and fitness skills
Mission and core values: This goal will provide my students and myself with the opportunity to pursue lifelong health active living. In order to do this, students need to be engaged and allowed the opportunity for a variety of current and creative opportunities to find their passion in their pursuit of lifelong healthy active living. As the core values states: When individuals are responsibility for their own decisions, they are empowered to make positive impact, and Creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong passion for learning are essential to personal fulfillment and to meet the challenges of the future

Timeline: end of the school year.
Reflect on goal accomplishment
Goal #2 has been somewhat easy to do as I have had many opportunities to try new and different methods in my classes. Because this is something I have been working on for the past several years, as I try a new idea, it becomes easier to organize and accomplish. I have been able to find many great ideas online, through subscribing to Facebook pages, following others on Twitter, or just through general browsing.
GOAL #3

Standard C5 – Commits to ongoing professional learning
Strict scheduling of time: use Saturdays as study and assignment time, as well as one-two nights per week: Mondays and Wednesdays
Complete three courses by April and a fourth course by July.
Sept-Dec: 1. Counselling Children and Adolescents from a Developmental Perspective
Jan-Apr: 2. Assessment Processes 3. Infusing Culture into Counseling
Apr-Jul: 4. Professional Ethics
Reflect on goal accomplishment
Goal #3 was much more challenging to complete, especially in the past few months. I did manage to complete 3 out of the 4 courses I intended. But I will not finish the 4th course until next year, as I am just too busy with other things. I found that I was able to be very strict with my time management but I still wasn’t always able to fit in everything I wanted to. Since I have just completed two courses, I look forward to having more free time for exercise and other things now.
